Position Summary

The CNC Set-Up Technician (2nd Shift) is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components while meeting quality and safety standards.

What You’ll Do

• Read and interpret blueprints, including keyways for shaft production
• Set up and operate CNC machines (drilling, milling, grinding, turning)
• Convert engineering drawings into machine-ready dimensions
• Monitor production and adjust machines as needed
• Inspect parts for accuracy and consistency
• Perform basic preventative machine maintenance

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of CNC/manufacturing experience
• Lathe and/or horizontal mill experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, gauges, and keyway specifications
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
