Description
- Operates CNC Router and/or Plasma cutter to provide pre-cut pieces to production departments for further processing.
- Performs preventive maintenance on CNC Router and Plasma cutter.
- Programs CNC Router or Plasma cutter to perform specific operations.
- Responsible for maximizing materials usage and minimizing waste.
- Responsible for safely moving pre-cut pieces to next department.
- Responsible for tracking time and materials in M1 system.
- Responsible for his/her own quality assurance, ensuring channel letters are manufactured to meet or exceed industry standards.
- Responsible for his/her own safety and the safety of those around them.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in production in a manufacturing environment.
- CNC Router or Plasma Cutter programming experience.
- ERP Experience preferred.
