Summary Job Description
This position is responsible for operating the CNC Router to produce high end furniture parts.
Essential Duties
- Responsible for operating the CNC Router using programmed instructions
- Sets up router to ensure parts are produced correctly, according to specifications
- Makes minor adjustments to the machine
- Installs correct tooling for each job
- Counts and final inspects part for quality
- Performs maintenance on router per PM list
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
- Works as part of a team to meet or exceed production goals
Qualifications
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous machine operating experience required
- Experience with woodworking machines for frame parts or veneered parts a plus

- Prolonged periods of standing; sitting, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting throughout shift
- Must be able to work in noisy environments
- Must have good math skills, specifically the decimal system
- Repetitive pushing/pulling with frequent grasping, fine manipulation as well as foot use to operate controls
- Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; rarely lifting/carrying objects up to 75 lbs.
