Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented CNC & Punch Press Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will operate a variety of precision machinery to produce high-quality metal components and assemblies. Your expertise will help ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and top-tier product quality. Duties

  • Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other related equipment to produce precise metal parts according to specifications.
  • Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software to optimize cutting paths and machining operations.
  • Operate punch presses, stamping presses, and press brake machines for sheet metal forming and fabrication tasks.
  • Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection and measurement of finished components.
  • Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements and ensure proper assembly of parts.
  • Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring proper tooling and tooling changes.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently when operating cranes, forklifts, or electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment to prevent accidents.
  • Assist with welding, fabrication, and assembly tasks as needed to support production goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as laser cutters, milling machines, lathes, or plasma cutters in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming languages and software (e.g., G-code) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes including stamping, bending with press brakes, and welding techniques.
  • Experience with forklift operation and crane safety procedures is a plus.
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a commitment to safety standards in a fast-moving manufacturing setting.
