About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing team on the North Shore. This role supports production by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts for aerospace, medical, and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code) for mills and/or lathes
Set up machines, select tooling, and run first-piece inspections
Operate CNC machinery to produce components to tight tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments
Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed
Maintain equipment and follow shop safety standards
Qualifications
3+ years CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both)
Strong G-code programming or CAM software experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)
Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Experience with tight-tolerance aerospace/medical parts a plus
