CNC Programming- Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create efficient machining strategies.
- Maintain accuracy in programming for quality and adherence to specifications.
Setup and Machine Operation Support- Create detailed setup sheets and documentation to guide machine operators.
- Assist with machine setup and operation during peak production times or complex jobs.
- Conduct test runs to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Project Estimation and Planning- Estimate programming times, machine times, and materials needed to complete projects efficiently.
- Develop Basic work plans to align with project timelines and production demands.
Engineering Collaboration- Serve as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing to ensure seamless communication and alignment on technical requirements.
- Assist engineering in creating models, assemblies, fixtures, and tooling needed for production.
- Provide insights and feedback on part manufacturability, tooling needs, and process improvements.
Process Improvement- Analyze current machining processes to identify areas for efficiency and quality improvements.
- Recommend and implement updates to programming and machining techniques as needed.
