In this position you will program and run a variety of CNC-controlled machines / milling centers. You will be responsible for set-ups and change-overs and for loading and unloading machines.

Create CNC Programs and set up work instructions.
Ability to operate 3 axis machining centers, (5 axis experience a plus)
Setting up proper cutting tools as specified within CNC programs.
Using and navigating CNC control screens.
Taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, and able to adjust accordingly.
Follow procedures to ensure end product is cut to the highest standard.

**REQUIRED SKILLS
**
Experience cutting aluminum, steel, kirksite, molds and dies.
Working knowledge of Fanuc, HAAS, Mitsubishi, & Heidenhain controls. Knowledge of Toshiba tasnuc 999 controls a plus.
Experience with WorkNC and PowerMill programming.
Strong mechanical & troubleshooting skills
Must be experienced in Blueprint reading and interpretation.
Ability to perform calculations and conduct moderate analysis

**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 5 years of CNC cutting experience is required. Previous experience programming CNC machines is required.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

Work requires walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
