CNC Programmer - Mill & Lathe

Location: Los Alamitos, CA

Hours: Mon-Fri 7 am-3:30pm

We are urgently looking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer with experience in both milling and lathe operations to join our manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and edit CNC programs for mill and lathe machines using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM)

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements

• Select appropriate tools, speeds, feeds, and cutting paths for optimal performance

• Set up and operate CNC machines during prototype and first-run production

• Perform test runs and adjust programs to ensure accuracy and quality

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred

• 2+ years of experience programming CNC mills and lathes

• Proficiency in CAM software and G-code programming

• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and lean manufacturing practices
