Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
- Utilize CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks/Fusion to create detailed part designs and tool paths.
- Set up and operate CNC machine, familiar with G-code.
- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts.
- Seek continuous improvement to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Some experience in CAD/CAM programming or G-code.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes including roughing/finishing.
- Familiarity with geometry principles as they relate to CNC programming.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in programming and setup processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
