Job Description

A component manufacturer in Benton, TN is hiring a CNC programmer/machinist for first or second shift. Hours are 6:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday. Four day week.

We run Haas mills and lathes and we program in SolidCAM. We're looking for someone who can run a job start to finish - program it, set it up, prove it out, and write down enough that the next person isn't calling you at home.

This is a job shop, so the parts change and you'll be figuring things out on your own a lot of the time.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years on CNC mills or lathes
• Can set up your own work on a Haas
• Reads prints, knows GD&T, and can inspect your own parts
• Comfortable editing at the control

SolidCAM experience is a big plus - put it near the top of your resume. If you've used Mastercam, CAMWorks, SOLIDWORKS, GibbsCAM, Esprit or Fusion instead, that's fine too. We'll train you on SolidCAM.

Other things that help: running both mills and lathes, live tooling, Y-axis, bar feeder, 3rd axis, fixture work, CMM, or a manual machining background.
