Responsibilities

  • Program and set up CNC mills, specifically 5+ axis VMCs, using Fanuc controls.
  • Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accuracy and quality in machined parts.
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using G-Code for efficient machining operations.
  • Conduct equipment troubleshooting and maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software to create and modify machining programs.
  • Train and mentor junior machinists on best practices and techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all machining operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist, with a focus on 5+ axis VMCs.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and its application in machining.
  • Proficiency in G-Code programming and CNC tooling.
  • Experience with troubleshooting CNC machines and resolving technical issues.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for programming and design.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
