This role is responsible for working closely with the team to Design and Engineer the best manufacturing solution for our customers; ultimately producing quality products in a low-volume prototype environment with evolving technology.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Are you open-minded?
  • Do you work well on a team? Do you have the ability to assist other teammates and pass along your skills and knowledge to continuously help build a stronger, higher level team?
  • Are you goal-oriented and self-managed? Can you work independently?
  • Do you have strong problem solving skills? Do you help others solve problems?


Technical Skills:

  • Exposure to and knowledge of complex, tight tolerance, and finely-finished machined components and/or assemblies
  • Cutting tool and toolpath knowledge: Do you know the best way to push the limits of current cutting tool technology?
  • Technical Documents: Can you work from technical drawings and solid models to produce a variety of complex prototype and production components?
  • Traditional manufacturing methods: Are you familiar with CNC Mills and Lathes, Conversational programming, Wire and Sinker EDMs, and Manual Machining?
  • 5-axis programming: Can you optimize the efficiency of prototype and production 5-axis manufacturing runs with CAM software such as Fusion 360? Do you have experience with standardization? Are you familiar with automation?
  • Lean Manufacturing: Have you ever participated in daily meetings or projects to improve quality of life at work?
