CNC Machinist / Set-Up / Programmer – 5-Axis

We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Set-Up / Programmer with strong 5-axis machining experience to join a precision manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program 5-axis CNC machining centers.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs at the machine.
• Set tooling, work offsets, tool lengths, fixtures, and workholding.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• Make program edits using G and M codes to optimize machining processes.
• Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to feeds, speeds, tooling, and offsets.
• Work with engineering and quality teams to support new and existing production.

Machine Experience

• Mori Seiki
• Okuma
• Mazak
• DMG Mori
• Hurco
• 5-axis CNC machining experience required

Programming & Software

• Mastercam
• AutoCAD
• Fusion 360
• SolidWorks
• Mazatrol
• Fanuc controls
• G-code and M-code programming/editing

Required Skills

• Strong CNC setup and programming experience.
• Strong 5-axis machining background.
• Excellent blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with tooling, offsets, fixtures, and workholding.
• Ability to troubleshoot and edit programs independently.
• Strong attention to detail and experience with tight-tolerance machining.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.
