What You'll Do

• Create, optimize, and validate CNC programs using Mastercam or similar CAM software.
• Program and support advanced multi-axis CNC machining centers.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, CAD models, and manufacturing specifications.
• Develop tool paths to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and machine performance.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production teams to improve processes.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
• Select tooling, cutting strategies, feeds, and speeds.
• Support setup and prove-out of new jobs and production runs.
• Improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and increase productivity.
• Maintain program documentation and process standards.

Qualifications

Required

• 3-5+ years of CNC Programming experience
• Strong experience with CNC machining operations
• Experience using Mastercam or comparable CAM software
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of tooling, machining strategies, and manufacturing processes
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• 3+ years of CAM Programming experience
• Experience programming advanced multi-axis CNC machines
• 5-Axis, 7-Axis, 9-Axis, or 11-Axis machining experience
• Experience with complex aerospace, medical, defense, energy, or precision manufacturing components
• CAD/CAM integration experience
• Process improvement and cycle time reduction experience
