We partner with our customers providing them with innovative and world-class solutions in single-hit, progressive, transfer and deep draw dies, precision sheet metal stampings, and laser cutting. We are seeking a CNC Programmer with experience programming 3-axis CNC mills. The successful candidate will be required to develop new CNC programs and/or modify existing programs for different machines. During the machining process, you will be required to perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications, making manual adjustments if necessary. You will also work with the engineers and tool & die makers to look for product modifications that might reduce the amount of machining time needed. Although no formal education is required, applicants should be familiar with the Mastercam and SolidWorks.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Write CNC Programs to optimize efficiency while being able to maintain the tolerance needed on various one-of-a-kind die components.
• Write CNC programs for 3-axis machining centers using MasterCam version 2024.
• Communicate instructions and priorities to CNC machinists.
• Must be able to analyze 3D designs and models to be manufactured.
• Maintain accurate CNC program database to reflect current revisions and programs.
• Ability to operate CNC machines when necessary.
• Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines.
• Ability to monitor workloads and adjust schedule to hit target due dates.
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
• Additionally, this person must maintain a good attendance record, practice safe work habits and follow general safety procedures.

Skills, Education and Experience Required:

• Three years of experience writing CNC Programs for custom one-of-a-kind parts.
• One year of experience using MasterCam.
• Computer literacy in CAD Software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Proficient understanding of G-code.
• Knowledge of cutting tool selection for highest efficiency and accuracy.
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently or as a team to accomplish common goals.
• Ability to communicate instructions to Teammates.
• Must possess excellent attention to detail.
