Job Overview:
- Work directly with machinists during setup and production runs to ensure successful program implementation.
- Assist with machine setup verification, first-piece inspections, and process validation.
- Investigate machining problems and implement corrective actions.
- Recommend tooling, fixturing, and process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Develop and deliver training programs for machinists related to CNC programming, machine operation, tooling, and manufacturing best practices. - Mentor machinists and operators on efficient machining techniques and process optimization.
- Create and maintain work instructions, setup sheets, and training documentation.
- Promote continuous learning and technical development within the manufacturing team.
- Identify opportunities to improve machining efficiency, reduce scrap, and increase throughput.
- Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in standardizing programming practices and shop procedures.
- Support quality and safety objectives by adhering to company policies and industry standards.
