General Description

• Position: 1st shift CNC Programmer

• Objective: Produce high-quality rubber molds and components through precise CNC programming

Key Duties/Responsibilities

1. CNC Programming:

   • Program Makino CNC machining centers for high-speed milling operations using Mastercam

   • Create 2D and 3D programs for molds and fixtures

2. Machining & Tool Work:

   • Perform high-precision machining of molds and fixtures

   • Revise existing tools as directed by Engineering

3. Team & Communication:

   • Collaborate effectively as part of a team

   • Communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors

4. Time & Productivity Management:

   • Manage time efficiently to meet productivity goals

   • Prioritize programming tasks according to schedule

5. Quality & Compliance:

   • Complete Programming Checklists to ensure accuracy

   • Follow established procedures in a fast-paced, well-equipped tool room

6. Attendance & Reliability:

   • Maintain regular and consistent attendance

Additional Duties

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Perform other tasks as requested by supervision

Prerequisite Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of CNC programming

• Skills:

  • 2D and 3D programming experience

  • Mastercam proficiency

  • Ability to work with very tight tolerances

  • Mold building knowledge/experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Highly motivated team player
