About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with hands-on experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines. This role requires proficiency in programming languages and software, as well as a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and precision measurement techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for lathes and milling machines using Fanuc, SolidWorks, and CAM programming software.

  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to create precise machining instructions.

  • Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production.

  • Conduct setup and operation of CNC equipment while adhering to safety protocols.

  • Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMM, etc.) for quality control checks.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and refine processes.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in CNC programming with a strong understanding of machining processes.

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (FeatureCam, Mastercam, SolidWorks, or related tools).

  • Knowledge of EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) techniques is a plus.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret blueprints and schematics effectively.

  • Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.

  • Strong mathematical and geometrical skills relevant to machining operations.
