Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate programs.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
- Maintain and update documentation related to CNC programming and machine operation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
