As a Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a production team while fostering a safe, collaborative, and high-performing work environment. This position is responsible for providing daily direction to the production workforce, driving employee engagement, coordinating production activities, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. You will help ensure customer expectations are met while promoting Emerson’s values of innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of hourly employees by fostering engagement, recognizing contributions, encouraging open communication, and supporting accountability and performance growth.
• Consistently and fairly administer company policies, procedures, and employee relations practices while promoting a respectful and inclusive workplace.
• Communicate daily production priorities, operational updates, and performance expectations to ensure alignment across the team.
• Coordinate production scheduling and capacity planning to support customer delivery requirements and operational objectives.
• Champion a strong safety culture by encouraging employee involvement, promoting safe work practices, and supporting continuous safety improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of lean principles, root cause analysis, and corrective actions that reduce waste and improve operational performance.
• Partner with maintenance and manufacturing teams to identify equipment needs and recommend improvements that enhance safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost performance.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Associate degree and at least one year of manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Hands-on experience working in a CNC machining environment, with a strong understanding of CNC machine operations, setup processes, tooling, machining principles, and production workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support direct reports in a fast-paced operations or manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to creating and maintaining a safe workplace.
• Experience motivating, coaching, and developing employees to achieve individual and team success.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, with JD Edwards (JDE) experience preferred.
• Three or more years of manufacturing experience in a professional or leadership capacity.
• Lean manufacturing experience, including Lean Champion certification or similar continuous improvement training.
