What You’ll Be Doing:
As a CNC Press Brake Setup Operator III, you’ll be a key technical contributor on the shop floor - owning complex press brake setups, ensuring quality from first piece to final run, and supporting production through expertise, leadership, and consistency. This role goes beyond operating; it’s about precision, problem-solving, and setting standards for press brake operations.¨NBSP;
We are looking for a true expert to fill this role.
A Day in the Life:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machines for complex parts
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, job orders, and work instructions to ensure accurate production
- Select tooling, calculate bend allowances, and optimize setups for quality and efficiency
- Verify part accuracy using precision measuring tools
- Perform visual inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Stage materials and maintain accurate job documentation
- Collaborate with production teams to meet schedules and delivery goals
- Train and mentor Level I and Level II operators
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Required Skills & Experience:
- Advanced CNC press brake setup and operation skills
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Proven problem-solving ability
- 5+ years of metal fabrication or related manufacturing experience preferred; the more experience the better
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity for precision work
