Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal fabrication is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
