Additional pay increases available as you gain experience on multiple fabrication machines.

Schedule

  • Monday - Thursday
  • 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Enjoy a three-day weekend every week.

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join their growing fabrication team in Lenexa, KS. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned operator looking for a long-term career with a company that is investing heavily in future growth and employee development.

This position is ideal for an experienced Press Brake Operator who takes pride in their craft and enjoys helping develop less experienced team members. The fabrication department is relatively new and is looking for a strong operator who can serve as a leader on the floor and help elevate the team's capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC Press Brake equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
  • Perform tooling setups and die changes.
  • Verify dimensions and maintain required tolerances.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout production runs.
  • Make minor program adjustments as needed.
  • Work closely with fabrication, quality, and production teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in training and mentoring newer fabrication team members.
  • Cross-train on additional fabrication equipment as skills progress.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of dedicated CNC Press Brake experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience performing tooling setups and die changes.
  • Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable attendance and a stable work history.
  • Ability to work independently and remain productive throughout the shift.
  • Willing to train and mentor other operators

Preferred:

  • Leadership or mentoring experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • CNC fabrication experience.
  • Punch Press experience.
  • Metal fabrication background.
  • Experience working with tight tolerances.
