Job Description

Responsibilities

• Produce machined parts using CNC machines while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Set up and operate CNC machines according to work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans.
• Conduct tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality and performance.
• Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances as per specifications.
• Monitor machine operation by observing gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure proper functioning.
• Verify machine settings by measuring positions and sample work pieces, maintaining standards.
• Maintain and manage cutting tools, utilizing various measuring instruments for accuracy.
• Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and needs to ensure continuity across work shifts.
• Manage stock inventory to support production requirements.

Shift Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm

Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in CNC lathe/mill set-up and machine tool operation.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, using micrometers, calipers, and coordinating tooling.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Capability to stand for extended periods to operate machines.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.

The hourly pay rate for this position will be determined based on the candidate’s experience. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and skill level.
