GWS Tool Group is a rapidly growing, energetic company that is committed to investing in the organization and it’s employees. The ANCA 5-Axis CNC Programmer/Operator will be responsible for producing premium quality, high precision carbide, carbide tipped and HSS cutting tool master programs and finished tools using ANCA 5-Axis CNC tool grinding machines. Facilitates and operates (ANCA) CNC machines by programming, setup, operating the CNC machine, inspecting tools for flaws and correcting quality issues to ensure a consistent product.
Opportunity Details:
As a ANCA 5-Axis CNC Operator/Programmer, you are responsible for:
- Create master programs in ANCA ToolRoom RN33 & RN34
- Maintain revision control of masterized program database
- Ability to accurately read blueprints.
- Responsible for the setup and offsets as required.
- Consistently evaluates the quality of the finished product coming off the CNC machine through visual inspection and the use of measurement tools.
- Communicates quality issues to inspection, engineering and General Manager
- Pull material for up-coming jobs
- Check machinery on a daily basis to ensure functionality.
- Ensure product accuracy and uniformity throughout the manufacturing process creating consistent parts.
- Provide general preventative maintenance to all machines.
- Identify wheel wear on ALL wheel types
- Set-up, inspect, produce good first piece & run production on drills, reamers, counter sinks and other special aerospace cutting tools.
What you can provide:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Certification from a qualified training institution in the field of machining is ideal but not required.
- A well rounded knowledge of cutting tools.
- Experience with ANCA controls is a must.
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous 5-Axis CNC Setup / Operator experience is preferred
- Programming experience is required.
- Strong math skills required to perform day to day operations including the ability to convert metric to inch and decimal to fraction.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
