As the CNC Operator (2nd Shift), you will drive and maintain a culture of continuous improvement within our Bradley Operating System (BOS). Responsible for operating CNC equipment, you may occasionally rotate through the Locker and Non-Metals lines, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cycle-time standards. Reporting onsite and collaborating with the broader team, you will propose and implement process improvements and support a world-class customer experience.
You Will:
Produce and Validate Product to Quality Standard and Product Produce and validate product to quality standards and specifications.
Follow standard work procedures (content, sequence, timing, and outcome).
Handle company materials, tools and equipment responsibly.
Report attendance, labor, inventory, and operational data.
Perform machine startup tasks, including calling up required CNC programs and tooling changes.
Return the machine to the home position, make tooling offset edits, and verify product square-ness.
Comply with all company and OSHA safety requirements.
Assist Manufacturing Engineers by updating or developing Operational Method Sheets (OMS).
You Have:
High school diploma or GED; Industrial Arts courses preferred.
2+ years of general shop experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
Fine motor skills suited for working with small parts (e.g., screws).
Ability to read and understand blueprints, BOM routing, process instructions, and work instructions.
Proficiency with hand tools such as drills, drivers, saws, routers, welders, and rivet tools.
Skill in loading and unloading equipment and following standard work or OMS guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
