Job Overview:
**Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility:
**
Must perform Quality Checks with the use of gauges and visual inspection during specified time periods while running production.
Must run production according to schedules, unless instructed otherwise.
Demonstrate ability to safely operate various machines.
Must be able to read and understand Travelers / Job routings.
Read and understand basic blueprints.
Report labor, rework, and scrap directly in computer operating system.
Perform or identify with any operator maintenance on the machine in use.
Perform repetitious tasks, occasionally subject to frequent changes in job assignment as requested by Department Lead.
Other tasks as needed.
**Skills and Abilities:
**
CNC experience preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 10lbs continuously.
Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day
Must be self-motivated
Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Must keep machine and area clean
Understand ± tolerances and limits
Recognize basic GD&T symbols
Follows safety procedures
Shows up consistently / good attendance
Pays attention to detail.
