Summary:
Fully able to setup, adjust and operate all CNC equipment with no supervision/guidance. Must be able to follow special handing instructions as assigned as well as maintain rates, quality and production on all product.
Job Skills:
2 Years experience in CNC powder metal machine or other precision metalworking field.
Able to perform G-code programming.
Able to operate CNC controls and various functions of CNC machining tools without direction.
Must be able to use gauges and metrology equipment in regards to CNC area.
Able to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints and GD&T.
Detect and contain non-conforming product. Notify Supervision of any discrepancies.
Advanced understanding of shop floor reporting, bar coding and the current Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.
Basic statistics.
Strong math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division).
Must be able to fill out and put in all necessary paperwork, including quality checks, routers, etc. whether on paper or in the computers.
Must be able to use measurement and other test equipment or tools.
Must be familiar with the location and use of procedures, instructions and documentation used in the CNC Department.
CNC start-up/shut-down when required.
Emergency stop of CNC Equipment
Meet all requirements of CNC Operator B.
Job Tasks:
Independently operate and setup CNC equipment.

Keep equipment clean and area organized and free of debris.
