Join our dynamic team as an CNC Machinist in Schofield, WI! We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to hit the ground running.
Job Duties:
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to fabricate precision tool bits according to specifications.
Utilize CAD software to design and modify tool bit prototypes and production parts.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches to understand product requirements and dimensions.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Conduct quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process to maintain productivity and quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize machining processes and improve product designs.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Document production activities, including machine settings, tool changes, and inspection results.
Job Requiremnets:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in CNC machining preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in computer operations and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform complex calculations.
Familiarity with G-code programming language and CNC machine controls.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and machining techniques.
