About the Role
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for set-ups, tooling, minor program edits, and machining a variety of materials ranging from high-hard steel to aluminum. You’ll work in a state-of-the-art, clean, and high-tech facility with 15–20 advanced CNC machines (and more on the way), where precision, efficiency, and quality are top priorities.
What You’ll Do
- Perform CNC set-ups on larger, more complex parts with limited runs.
- Make minor program edits as needed (programming handled by in-house programmers).
- Set up tooling and ensure proper speeds, feeds, and materials are used.
- Document and communicate any quality issues in alignment with ISO and company standards.
- Ensure jobs are completed on-time and to specification.
- Work with a variety of materials, including high-hard steel and aluminum.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience required.
- Degree or certification in machining, manufacturing, or related field highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tooling, speeds & feeds, materials, and set-up practices.
- Experience running larger/complex parts with short production runs.
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and make program adjustments.
- Leadership skills and interest in taking on greater responsibility.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems (Tebis, Lemoine, Intevis) a plus.
