Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

• Process parts through CNC mill/lathe
• Check to ensure details are finished to print.
• Recording of part dimensions.
• Reading measurement tools.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Demonstrate safe work habits.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work Environment

Noise Level

The noise level in the working environment will generally be high. Ear protection will be required.

Education/Experience/Certifications:

To effectively carry out duties and responsibilities, the following education, experience, or certifications preferred:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to read basic measuring tools 

Additional Skills Required

Communication skills:

• Speak effectively with teammates.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, etc.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Mathematical skills:

• Apply mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as basic algebra.

Other Skills:

• Detail oriented.
• Organized and able to meet deadlines while performing multiple duties.
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of specific variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Able to perform work independently.
