CNC Operator

**Location: **Pilot Point, TX

**Shift: **Days (6am - 4pm)

Pay: $18 ph - $22 ph depending on experience

Our client is recruiting a skilled CNC Operator to join their manufacturing team. They need an experienced CNC Operator from a steel fabrication environment who can get up to speed with minimal training

Responsibilities

• Experience operating Voortman, Controlled Automation, Peddinghaus or Python equipment, or similar steel fabrication machinery.
• Press brake operating experience would also be considered.
• Load and unload equipment & materials.
• Precise setting of all tool offsets
• Calculating set-up requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Able to read and understand Engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and read drawings.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating Voortman, Controlled Automation, Peddinghaus or Python equipment, or similar steel fabrication machinery.
• Press brake operating experience would also be considered.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with quality control measures and inspection tools such as calipers.
• Experience with hand tools and basic machining equipment.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
