The Experienced Diamond Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting diamond tooling equipment while ensuring product quality, safety, and efficient production flow. This role serves as a key resource for complex machine setups and supports team members with technical guidance.
Hours: 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (Training will take place on first shift)

Comply with all safety standards and corporate guidelines, including business ethics policies
Perform incoming inspection of tools to ensure they meet print specifications
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot machinery to maintain optimal performance
Conduct preventative maintenance (PM), including cleaning, greasing, and replacing wires and wheels as required
Ensure proper flow of materials throughout the production area
Maintain accurate and complete production and inspection documentation
Perform final tool inspections and assembly to ensure quality standards are met
Identify and communicate material shortages to appropriate team members
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards
Serve as a go-to resource for resolving complex operational or technical issues
Participate in production meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Perform brazing of tools as required
Strong understanding of equipment, tooling, and manufacturing operations
Ability to learn and execute complex machine setups
Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
Demonstrated ability to lead by example and support team performance
Solid understanding of company policies and procedures
