As a CNC Operator at the Ridge Tool Company world headquarters in Elyria Ohio, you’ll be part of a team that delivers innovative world class tools and products to the professional tradespersons. In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be: 

• Determines procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished workpieces.
• Capable of identifying tool wear and interpret Quality Lab CMM reports. Able to use and interpret various gages and recording instruments.
• Loads fixtures according to work instructions.
• Identifies and advises Tool setters / Job setters of needed cutting tool changes.
• Measures work pieces for conformance to specifications.
• CNC Workgroup = Mori-Seiki Bar Cell Multiplex/Palletech/Haas Cells (Measured Day Work) Propress/Makino machines
• Supports and adheres to all Safety, 5-S, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, Quality and Machine efforts and responsibilities.

For this Role, You Will Need:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to add & subtract decimals & fractions
• Required to convert fractions to decimals
• Outstanding attendance
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Candidates can work any shift, have strong mechanical proficiency, lift up to 50 lbs, and function effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Since the invention of the modern pipe wrench in 1923, the 25-acre RIDGID world headquarters in Elyria, OH has been developing tools that help trades professionals tackle jobs faster, safer, and more accurately. Today, more than 600 employees work in 734K square feet of office and manufacturing space. The campus is also home to a factory tool service center and an innovative “schoolhouse” training center that educates and trains hundreds of tradespersons annually. In addition to the iconic wrench, the campus manufactures RIDGID battery hydraulic tools, pipe and electrical tools, and drain cleaning components, as well as Greenlee step bits and knock-out tools. Emerson’s Professional Tools business provides the industry’s broadest portfolio of sophisticated, reliable tools and technologies for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades.
