**Job Title: DH- CNC Operator I ( DIRECT Hire)

Location: Carson City, NV 89706

Shift: 2nd Shift - 3pm start and 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM start

Pay rate : $25.00/Hr. - $33.00/Hr. on W2 **

Position Summary:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines and conventional machines according to production specifications to produce parts of exceptional quality

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Passing grade on job-related test.
• Minimum two years’ experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to use handheld measuring tools.
• Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team.
• Basic math skills required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Not Applicable.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and promote 5S standards in the work area.
• Adhere to and promote Company health, safety, and environmental policies while performing job duties.
• Be aware of ISO – Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements.
• Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines under the direction of supervisors.
• Load and perform simple edits of programs if required.
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure specifications are met.
• Blend surfaces and apply or remove excess material with hand tools or machinery.
• Set up and use various machines, fixtures, and tools.
• Modify parts to specifications.
• Follow production specifications regarding assembly of new manufactured parts.

Marginal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use computerized tracking systems.

• CNC Programming
• CNC Machine Installation
• CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
