Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to OSHA guidelines. Under the guidance and direction of the Cell Lead, the CNC Operator is responsible for proper set-up and operation of the CNC Mill and/or CNC Lathe to produce precision parts in accordance with customer drawings/specifications, internal sketches and/or other forms of instruction. The Operator is to prep all tools and work holding for the machine per supplied work instructions by the Cell Lead and verify part conformance after setup is complete. In the case of any program or part issues, they are to inform their supervisor immediately. Constant tentativeness to part conformity is maintained throughout the run and tool offsets are made as needed by the Operator as well as maintaining acceptable coolant levels in the machines used. Operators are also required to perform basic deburring tasks to complete machined parts and/or prep parts for additional operations. As well as filling out in process inspection forms. At times the employee will be required to install hardware after quality has approved part geometry and perform other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS:
**
High School diploma or GED equivalent and at least 18 years of age (required to work in a manufacturing environment).
Minimum of 3-5 years CNC Mill and/or Lathe set-up and operation experience; experience with Haas CNC equipment preferred.
Experience and ability to set-up and operate Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers, multi-axis experience preferred (up to 5-axis).
Proficiency using hand measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers, etc.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Experience with a wide range of materials essential (ie: steel, aluminum, stainless, plastic, titanium, copper, brass , etc.)
Strong mathematic skills preferred.
Must possess a strong work ethic, good attendance habits, be adaptable, and work well in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
Familiarity to any type of CAD/CAM is a plus.
Experience with installing hardware, standoff(s) and helicoil(s) preferred.
Proficiency with computers preferred.
