CNC Milling Programmer

We are a market-leading manufacturer of implants, specialty surgical instruments, cutting tools, and delivery systems for the orthopedic, sports medicine, trauma, extremities, and other MedSurg applications. Our Warminster, PA location is currently seeking an experienced CNC Milling Programmer who possesses the experience to monitor quality by, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming control while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. The programmer is responsible for first time set up and stepping through the program.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Write and optimize CNC MultiAxis, Mill-Turn, and VMC programs
- Develop work holding and select cutting tools
- Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up machines
- Integrate work with Production and Quality Departments to ensure a smooth flow of quality products through the factory
- Detects malfunctions and troubleshoots processes
- Ensure programs run on machines without errors, thus ensuring the highest quality is maintained at all times
- May perform other duties as assigned by management
- Maintain proper documentation and records
- Meet departmental quality, safety, and scheduling requirements
- Adhering
to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Ability to utilize CAM system i.e. Mastercam or Part Maker
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 3-5 years on the job experience in a related field
- Ability to do basic math, read, write, and speak English
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and coworkers
- Ability to work competently with minimal supervision
- Must possess organizational ability to set priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
- Able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, lift 40 pounds and stand on feet for an extended period of time
