CNC Milling Programmer - Geremarie Corporation

Job Overview:
As a CNC Milling Programmer at Geremarie Corporation, you will program CNC milling machines using MasterCam software, ensuring high precision and quality for complex parts. Your work will support the production of advanced components, predominantly using Okuma milling machines. This role is integral to our team, focusing on the technical programming and setup needed for efficient and precise manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Programming: Develop and optimize CNC programs using MasterCam to produce intricate parts per engineering specifications.
- Machine Setup and Operation: Conduct setup and operation of CNC milling machines, including Okuma models, to verify program accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Perform test runs, troubleshoot, and modify programs to ensure optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and machinists to interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring feasibility and accuracy in production.
- Documentation and Maintenance: Maintain organized records of programs and operational data to support continuous improvement and future use.
- Training: Provide guidance to machine operators on best practices for programming and setup.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in CNC programming, with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in CNC machine setup and operation. Past part history of programming Aerospace or Medical parts is a huge plus!
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MasterCam software for CNC programming is required. Okuma milling machine experience is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills for programming adjustments and machine operations.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail and precision, with a commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Communication: Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification in CNC programming or machining is advantageous.
