Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines with precision and efficiency.
Adjust tooling and create offsets to maintain close tolerance specifications.
Calibrate and run multi-axis CNC machinery for operations including drilling, milling, boring, threading, and tapping.
Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
Identify and correct machine malfunctions to maintain productivity and part quality. This includes checking produced parts to ensure they are according to specification.
Collaborate in a team environment and assist others with machining techniques and troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
Proficient in operating CNC mills in a production environment.
Strong understanding of close-tolerance manufacturing and blueprint reading.
Able to run multiple machines simultaneously and adapt to varying changeover rates.
Skilled in diagnosing machine behavior and adjusting for sound, vibration, or operational inconsistencies.
Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills.
Deep knowledge of raw materials, tooling speeds, feeds, and cutting processes.
