Express Employment Professionals is supporting a Precision CNC machining service company in Brighton hiring a CNC Mill Set-Up Machinist.

Shift schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday schedule

**Compensation: **Starting at $25/hr., pay rate is flexible based on individual applicant experience - position will interview prior to start.

Responsibilities of Setup Machinist:

• The CNC Machinist/Programmer works directly with engineering and technicians utilizing a hands-on approach that supports daily floor activities.
• Creating, analyzing, and improving machining processes to achieve optimal performance utilizing various multi-axis CNC Mills.
• Training in CMM lab to familiarize with good quality part standards, checking of parts for conformance to specifications, knowledge of precision part inspections required.
• Ability to cross train on Mill and Lathe operations.
• Follow verbal, written and basic blueprint specifications.

Qualifications of Setup Machinist:

• CNC Milling experience required, minimum 3-5 years experience: Fadal, Okuma, Doosan (Fanuc Controls) highly considered.
• Familiarity with programming required G&M Code.
• Commitment to good attendance is a must to train and progress in development.
• Drivers license with reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
• Interested candidates must have good vision to complete inspections- must complete and pass a standard vision test.
• Longevity in previous jobs/experiences is required.
• Team work focused environment- good attitude to work with others is imperative for working alongside engineering and technicians.
