Overview

Flextrades is hiring Mill Machinists with 4+ years experience for 6 month Travelling Contract to WISCONSIN

Project Specs:

• Machinist $38/hr
• 50hrs/week GUARANTEED (OT after 40)
• $45 per diem (tax-free), 7 days a week
• Private hotel accommodations (we handle the booking)
• References Required
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Travel time compensation

Our contracts require you to be onsite for the duration, travel anywhere in the US, have a valid drivers license as you will drive your own car to the worksite (we pay for travel at $25/hour for driving time) and be open to all shifts.

Responsibilities

Machinist

• Setup and operate CNC Mills and/or CNC HBMs to the details listed under client summary

• Select cutting tools and make adjustments for best performance

• Responsible for up to 2 machines at a time

Qualifications

• 4+ years setting up/operatiing mills and HBMs
• Must have at least 3 and 4-axis experience
• Ability to read customer drawings and CAD modelss, apply GD&T, and work with both standard and metric measurements
• Experience working in high‑mix, low‑volume environments while holding very tight tolerances

• G-Code
