Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines according to specifications and blueprints.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate machining.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet required tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Mill Machinist, with a strong focus on 5-axis machining.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.

Pay/Compensation Details:

• Hourly rate: $38 per hour (time and half over time pay after 40 hours worked)
• Guaranteed 50 hours per week
• Daily allowance of $45 for food/personal expenses (tax-free) - 7 days per week
