Job Description

A precision manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Mill Programmer/Operator to produce high-quality components for aerospace, defense, and other high-precision industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and operate CNC milling machines based on work instructions and technical drawings.

• Set up machines, including tooling, offsets, and fixture alignment.

• Make necessary adjustments to maintain part quality and production efficiency.

• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.

• Maintain detailed records of production and inspections.

• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.

• Perform preventive maintenance on machines as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, including GD&T.

• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust programs as needed.

• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

• Experience with Haas and/or Fanuc-controlled CNC machines.

• 2+ years of experience in CNC milling operation and programming.

• Familiarity with MasterCam or similar CAM software.

You should be proficient in:

• CNC Programming
• Troubleshooting CNC Machines
