CNC Mill Machinist
2nd Shift/$21-$29/hr/Contract to Hire

Overview:
Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a a manufacturer that is primarily engaged in the design and manufacture of hydraulic valve manifolds and related products
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is preferred.
Experience with G&M Code. Experience with Mazatrol is a plus.
2-7+ years of experience operating a Mill or Lathe making offsets and adjustments at the controller.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to perform calculations and measurements accurately.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilites:
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
Select the appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
Set up CNC Mill machines by installing and adjusting cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
Making edits on CNC machines using G-code or conversational code languages.
Load materials into the machine and secure them properly.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure proper cutting and machining.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance in CNC work centers including cleaning and 5S.
