Job Description

A precision manufacturing company is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe and Mill Programmer/Operator to produce high-quality components for aerospace, defense, and other high-precision industries. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming CNC lathes, conducting inspections, and maintaining production efficiency while adhering to strict quality standards.

?Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Operate and program CNC lathes according to work instructions, blueprints, and G-Code programming.

• Set up CNC lathe machines and perform necessary adjustments to ensure part quality and efficiency.

• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.

• Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing measurements and processes.

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as needed.

**Qualifications: **

• At least 2+ years of experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator

• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, including GD&T.

• Proficiency with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain production efficiency.

• Experience with Haas and/or Mori-Seiki CNC machines.

• Familiarity with MasterCam or similar CAM software.

You should be proficient in:

• CNC Programming
• AS9100
• Machine Setups for Production Runs
• Troubleshooting CNC Machines
• Blueprint Reading
