Overview

Flextrades is hiring MASTERCAM programmers for a 3 mos contract in MARYLAND.

Experience with setup and prove out especially with dual spindle, single turret lathe w/ Y-axis required

• Pay: $55/hr
• 50hrs/week GUARANTEED (OT over 40)
• $45 per diem (tax-free), 7 days a week
• Private hotel accommodations (we handle the booking)

Responsibilities

• Programming various CNC machines including dual spindle, single turret lathes with Y-Axis

• MUST have experience programming 3-axis vertical mills OR CNC slant bed lathes with live tooling.

• Preferred candidates will also have: 4 & 5-axis vertical mill experience, or mill turn experience, or horizontal mill experience, and/or dual spindle lathes.

• Work reotely for first 2 weeks programming, then continue onsite to setup and prove out programs

• Train Full time employees

Qualifications

• 4+ recent years programming in MasterCam 2025 preferred, but recent version accepted

• PPE: Safety-toe, slip-resistant shoes are required. Safety glasses are required; non-prescription safety glasses are provided.

• Tools: No physical tools required.

You should be proficient in:

• CNC Programming
• G-Code
• M-Code

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
• CAM Software (Mastercam)
