Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components that meet exact specifications. Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, process efficiency, and continuous improvement across our operations.
What your day may look like:
Set up and operate precision manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, CMMs, FARO Arms, milling machines, and other machining tools to produce high-quality components.
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions to fabricate, prototype, modify, and rework parts, fixtures, and assemblies.
Partner with engineers and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot production challenges, improve processes, and deliver innovative solutions.
Perform precision measurements, inspections, and quality checks to ensure all products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment through equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and adherence to established procedures.

What will make you successful in this role:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
At least three years of experience in machining and/or fabrication. Must have practical knowledge of CNC programming.
Training as a machining technician, machine operator, or lathe operator is required.
Candidate should be highly proficient in reading blueprints.
Possess strong reading, writing, and math skills.
Experienced in using precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, and gauges.

This position in located in Sacramento, CA. The starting hourly rate for this position is $23.40-$31.66. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
