Position Summary
The CNC Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading daily CNC machining operations while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role supervises Team Leads, Setup Technicians, CNC Operators, and Machinists to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently met.
This role oversees production scheduling for both shifts within the CNC machining department and works closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to drive operational efficiency and process improvements.
Supervise daily CNC machining operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are achieved.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate CNC production across multiple shifts.
Lead and develop CNC machinists, operators, and setup technicians through coaching, training, and performance management.
Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to meet throughput, cost, and quality goals.
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering on process improvements, new product introductions, and tooling strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality systems including AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
Maintain oversight of equipment, processes, safety, and housekeeping within the CNC machining department.
Promote a collaborative and high-performing team environment focused on continuous improvement.
Utilize manufacturing systems and production data to drive operational decisions and improvements.
