Full Description
Review product designs to ensure compliance with engineering principles, industry standards, customer requirements, and specifications.
Coordinate technical development, scheduling, and resolution of engineering design and testing challenges.
Perform 3D modeling and create CAD/CAM sequences using simulation software to develop cost-effective manufacturing processes.
Support the quoting process by providing technical input for manufacturing feasibility and cost estimation.
Collaborate with the machining department to ensure CNC tooling and fixturing are designed for efficiency and timely project delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in CNC machining operations, tooling strategies, and manufacturing practices.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Strong foundation in CNC programming and/or machining.
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (CREO/Pro-E experience is a plus).
Familiarity with cutting methods, tooling, and precision manufacturing practices.
Solid understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as trigonometry.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collect and analyze data to drive valid conclusions.
