CNC Maintenance Technician Company: Fivestar Talent Advisors Location: Central Missouri (Sedalia area – commutable from Columbia, Jefferson City, Marshall) If your background is specifically in CNC machine maintenance—and you don’t just fix issues, you figure out why they happen—this is worth a look. We’re working with a confidential manufacturing client in Central Missouri that has made significant investment in equipment, automation, and maintenance infrastructure. This is not a “keep it running” role. This is a fix it, improve it, prevent it role. The Opportunity - CNC machining centers and automated equipment - Investment in predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermal imaging, etc.) - Focus on uptime, efficiency, and long-term performance What You’ll Be Doing - Diagnose and repair CNC machines and equipment - Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems - Read and interpret schematics - Perform precision alignments - Execute preventive and predictive maintenance - Utilize CMMS systems - Respond to machine-down situations with urgency What They’re Looking For - 5+ years hands-on CNC maintenance experience - Strong troubleshooting ability across systems - Ability to read schematics - Experience with CNC machines - Proactive mindset Not a Fit If - Facilities maintenance background only - Basic mechanical repair without CNC - Operator-only experience Nice to Have - Automation or robotics experience - Drives or PLC exposure - Welding or machining background Why This Role Stands Out - Investment in equipment and infrastructure - Advanced manufacturing environment - Focus on predictive maintenance Next Step Confidential search—details shared during conversation.
